SkyViper V2900 Pro

Explosive 3D Animation

SkyViper need an 8-Second CG moment for the V2900 launch film that felt premium, technical and visually satisfying.
The brief was to create an elegant 'exploded view' of the drone while highlighting three hero features; the panoramic lens, onboard GPS and brushless motors.

Working from the supplied CAD data, I began by creating a custom HDRI from the on-set footage to ensure seamless integration with the live-action plates. I optimised the model for Cinema 4D, added additional detailing, and developed a clean visual language that allowed each component to expand, separate and resolve without feeling cluttered.

Texturing, lighting and animation were crafted in C4D and rendered with Octane, which enabled fast iteration through various lighting setups and look-dev options. The final composite and polish were completed in After Effects.

The resulting sequence delivered a crisp, dynamic reveal of the V2900 Pro’s key technologies, aligning perfectly with the broader brand film. The client loved the balance of technical accuracy and visual elegance—an impactful highlight in the final promo.
