Move To The Beat - 2012 Olympics

It’s the London 2012 Olympics. Mark Ronson and Katy B teamed up to produce the single Anywhere in the World - a song built from the real sounds made by competing athletes: the bounce of table tennis balls, the thwack of an arrow, the pounding of footsteps, heartbeats and even breath.

In collaboration with Coca-Cola’s “Move to the Beat” campaign tied to London 2012, I developed a series of animations that could be triggered live alongside the sampled sounds during performances.

These animations - projected on large-format screens during concerts and events provided a visual counterpart to the rhythms created by sport and sound, helping to literally animate the fusion of athletic motion and musical beat in real time.
