The Dirty Warrny is not for the faint of heart - a brutal 246km gravel ride that pushes riders to their physical and mental limits.

I edited and graded two films for the event, beginning with a dark, atmospheric teaser designed to capture the raw spirit of endurance.

Gritty, textural imagery was intercut with intimate close-ups, reflecting the riders’ physical and emotional experience of the course. A muted, earthy colour palette reinforced the harsh environment, while carefully layered sound design; gravel under tyre, strained breathing and steady heartbeats, heightened the sense of tension and exertion.

The result was a visceral teaser film that set the tone for the event and immersed viewers in the challenge before the first pedal stroke.
