As we wrap up the year, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all my clients, collaborators, and regulars.
It’s been an exciting and productive year, delivering animation, video, and design outcomes to clients across the globe.
We’ve worked with brand agencies, tech start-ups, and direct-to-client projects, embracing a diverse range of challenges.
The creative industry has been abuzz with discussions about the rise of AI tools. It’s natural for many to feel uncertain about what this means for our field. One thing is clear: the next few years will bring significant change.
In its current form, AI has shown itself to be a valuable co-pilot—not as a replacement for final deliverables but as a means to accelerate concept iterations and add value to projects with tighter budgets.
For example, we’ve used basic 3D models and low-resolution renderings to block out scenes and ensure consistent storyboard styling with fine-grained control. It’s not about surrendering creative control to AI—it’s about working smarter and delivering greater value to our clients.
Some standout projects from this year include:
Accor Stadium Takeover: Developing a stunning takeover across the massive ‘Great Southern Screen’, making its debut at the NRL Grand Final.
Sofitel Diamond Jubilee: Creating captivating particle animations for a microsite and luxury events held around the globe.
Interactive 360 Launch: Providing design and art direction for the digital launch of an immersive platform.
Accor Plus ‘Member Stories’: Directing and editing nine heartfelt stories celebrating members and driving new sign-ups.
Bass in the Grass: Editing and animating promotional content for Darwin’s iconic music festival.
CG Aviation Film: Art directing and storyboarding a fully CG aviation piece, set for animation in early 2025.
Thank you for being part of an incredible year. Here’s to an even more creative and impactful 2025!
